Con questo utensile robusto si possono centrare e forare le lamiere in un unico ciclo di lavorazione. - Le scanalature dei trucioli rettificate in profondità nelle punte a gradini con 3 lame garantiscono un lavoro assolutamente privo di vibrazioni. Grazie al ridotto carico di taglio è possibile un maggiore avanzamento, in particolare nei materiali morbidi, quali ad esempio metalli non ferrosi. Il cono facilita il ritiro in lamiere perforate. Grazie al rivestimento antiusura di TiAIN, la durezza della superficie aumenta fino a circa 3.000 HV e la resistenza termica fino a 900 °C.
